The TED story
Like many others, my TED story begins with watching videos in an effort to broaden my own horizons. I began my experience with TEDx while I was procrastinating on a writing project. A former mentor asked me to recommend her to speak at TEDxGreensboro, so I did some research and was immediately intrigued.
Since that time, I've helped to organize two small but successful TEDx events on the college campus where I work. It's been a very satisfying project to undertake, and helped me meet and build relationships with people across campus and the community.
