About Mari

Bio

Mari Baker spent over 20 years as a senior technology executive. She has held CEO, President, and SVP positions in startups and Fortune 50 companies, and built some of the world's most successful consumer technology businesses and brands including Quicken (Intuit, Inc.) and BabyCenter (Johnson & Johnson). Ms. Baker brings her passion, experience, and perspective for product, customers, and leadership to every endeavor, including board roles, advising CEO's, mentoring entrepreneurs, and advancing women in leadership. She is currently Chair of the Audit Committee for Blue Shield of California, Chair of NomGov for John Wiley & Sons, and a Director at GoShip. She is co-founder of the VMWare Women’s Leadership Innovation Lab at Stanford University, a Trustee Emeritus of Stanford University, and Chair of YPO Gold Pacific Region. She is married, has four daughters, and enjoys cycling, hiking, long walks on the beach, and margaritas.
