I'm Rachel! I grew up in a small town in central Pennsylvania and recently graduated from Penn State University. I studied International Politics and Human Development & Family Studies. Currently, I work in downtown Washington, DC. At university, I started an organization called EmpowerU and creating this program helped orient me toward leading a life of empowering others. I am excited to join the online TED community after being on the organizer team at TEDxPSU (tedxpsu.com), TEDxYouth@ColumbiaHeights and after participating and volunteering at a number of TEDx events around the United States.
