Delphine Paulet (French) holds a phD in Veterinary Medicine, Degree in Psychology, MBA and Master in General Management. After 10 years as a veterinary surgeon in Paris and Marseille Region, shewent through a Master of Management and an MBA. She joined the IAE AIX Business School team from 2009 to 2013 where she was a member of the Executive committee in charge of Careers, Corporate relations & Executive Education. She is involved in Management Consulting and coaching for veterinarian practices, member of the French GERM Board (Research Group in Veterinary Practice Management), Leadership and emotional intelligence coach and consultant. She is currently doing a phD thesis on fast track leaders within CIFFOP (La Sorbonne University)

Our emotional capital is our best resource to cope with daily stress. However, in emotional Intelligence, as in other spheres, the rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer. When we have sufficient emotional resources, we're generous, share, we deliver to others almost unlimited positive energy and feelings. Through the free release of our resources, we receive many times more from the other one, and become emotionally wealthier. On the other hand, when we don't have enough resources to cope with our challenges or stress, we tend to keep as much energy as possible, holding back our resources, not giving to the other one. What we get is unproductive or even negative interactions, tiring out our last emotional resources, getting poorer because of the nature of the interactions we build. Let's preserve our emotional capital by listening to the other one, and give him the full priority.
