Bio
I'm an electrical engineer, working on assistive technologies for children with speech and language disabilities (like autism). My work happens through my startup Invention Labs, which is incubated by IIT Madras in Chennai, India. As part of my work, I collaborate with numerous special-needs schools and speech therapists all over the world, primarily in USA, Denmark, Italy and India. My work has resulted in a number of awards and recognitions, including being on MIT's TR35 list of top young innovators worldwide (2011), and India's highest award for work in disability - the National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (2010). I think of myself as an inventor and have 29 patents.
