Jenny Blake is an author and podcaster who runs a Delightfully Tiny media and IP licensing company. She loves helping entrepreneurs and organizations move from friction to flow through smarter systems. Her award-winning third book, Free Time: Lose the Busywork, Love Your Business (Ideapress, 2022). Jenny is also the author of the bestselling book Pivot: The Only Move That Matters Is Your Next One (Portfolio/Penguin Random House, 2016) and co-creator of Google’s acclaimed Career Guru global drop-in coaching program, still thriving today. She hosts two podcasts with over two million downloads combined: the Webby-nominated and w3 award-winning “Free Time with Jenny Blake” for Heart-Based Business owners, and “Pivot with Jenny Blake” for navigating change. She started her first blog, Life After College, in 2005. After two years as the first employee at a political polling start-up in Silicon Valley later acquired by YouGov America, Jenny spent five years at Google in training and career development, where she co-created and launched the global drop-in coaching program, Career Guru, still thriving today. Jenny moved to New York City in 2011 to launch her own business, where she lives with her husband, a contemporary artist, and their "angel in fur coat" German shepherd. She graduated magna cum laude and phi beta kappa from UCLA with degrees in political science and communications, and studied interreligious engagement at Union Theological Seminary.
