Bio
I am a passionate educational learner and project manager in LABi's Educational Innovation Design Office in Salvador/BA-Brazil. I was municipal education councilor in São Carlos/SP - Brazil. In 2014, I was operations manager at Neofuturo, a company that works with teacher's academic training for public schools. In 2012/2013, I took some courses on psychology and education in California State University - Chico in USA in order to go deep inside the pedagogical learning. When I was at Stanford Graduate School of Education in 2013 at the Lemann Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Brazil, I did an academic internship where I focused my research on how people learn and the applications of public policies for teacher training. I graduated on December 2014 in Mechatronics Engineering major from USP - Universidade de Sao Paulo and, for the future, I hope to tread a path at the educational field, mainly in public policy for teacher training in Brazil.

An idea worth spreading
Considering just in school variables, if we know that teacher quality is the best predictor of student performance, teacher training is our best shot for changing education systems around the world.
The TED story
Me and my friends had just finished an event called Virada Educação and we started together an initiative called Salvador pela Educação. Once we thought in how to spread the ideas of our new group, we had this great idea to do a TEDx event to start up our activities with huge impact in our city.
