Bio

I am passionate about using design thinking and technology to drive innovation around the world's most challenging problems. I continue to build on the many ways I have done this in the past: advising startups, teaching at Stanford's d.school, serving in government, leading initiatives in larger institutions, and working within philanthropic organizations. My professional approach draws on world class experiences in the design, policy, and technology sectors. I was one of three fellows in the inaugural class of a new program at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (the d.school), designed to be a "creative leadership accelerator for professionals with the potential to shift their fields.” I have a master's degree in development economics and public administration from the Kennedy School at Harvard. I have worked with the President's Offices in both Mexico and Liberia. I have an extensive background in strategic planning and analysis in the Internet sector, including five years at Google. I'm also a very proud mother of two and a certified yoga instructor :).
