Melanie is the director of engagement and outreach at Missouri S&T and believes in the importance of a strong, trusting relationship between the university and the Rolla community. She is a 1998 graduate of Rolla High School and holds a B.A in history and an M.B.A. from Missouri S&T. Melanie serves as a member of Phelps for the Fort, Celebration of Nations committee, TEDxMissouri S&T executive committee, regularly attends Rolla Downtown Business Association meetings, and is a board member for Cancer Gala and Co. Melanie and her husband, Curt, have one son, Hunter and are members of Greentree Christian Church.
