I study Oceanology, because I do want to make change in my surroundings I wanna be the voice of the ones who can´t talk for themselves. I would love to work either with marine species or helping in proyects of sustainability in my dear México, I wanna use the knowledge that the university will provide to enhance the proyects I work in with scientific basis.

Being the head of this project truly excites me. I feel, well, I know that bringing TEDx to my university will help me overcome myself, it will help me to set short term goals and accomplish them.

I have always been a fan of TED, can't quite recall when I became a fan but I did.So one day as I was visiting my family in León, Guanajuato a friend of mine Ale was so busy I couldn't reach her until once se responded , "I'm sorry I have been so hard to reach.. but you know I'm so busy organising this TEDx event at my university... ", I couldn't let her finish when I said, " TEDx as in TED TED TED ???", and she said "yeah!" and well, she explained everything to me about how can anyone with a big motivation could organise something like that. and ever since then I've merged into this amazing TED world organising finally my own personal and lovely TEDxUABC.
