I started watching TED Talks in 2007 and I was instantly hooked. I especially loved the talks on physics, a science that challenges and amazes me so much. I also loved the social advocacy talks, bringing awareness to the perspectives and needs of people from all over the world. I decided that I would love to either work for TED one day or host my own similar type of event. When I discovered TEDx independently organized events, both those ideas fused and I knew that I would put a TEDx event together one day. I waited to finish my Event Management program and sought out appropriate venues. Following my graduation I was hired by Niagara College and knew instantly that this would be a great place to host TEDx. However my time at the college went quickly as I learned my new job. Finally in the summer of 2012 I started making plans to host this event. I am so excited to be bringing TEDx to Niagara College to help inspire people in the Niagara region.

I am a master poker player, but never play for money, just fun.
