I am a Clinical Psychology Masters student at the University of Balamand, Lebanon who is eager in learning about new ideas, looking for new ideas to help form my ideas and my views into stronger ones. I am very passionate about music, dance and writing as therapy. We can use all three in ways that can change us, the people around us, our behaviors and our thoughts of mind into more powerful and intelligent beings.

As a psychology major, I believe that the human mind is what I am most passionate about. I believe that it is the most fascinating and powerful tool that we have as human beings. Ever since a young child, I have been curious about the behavior of people, and the different reactions that people have to similar events. All of the above were my drive to enter the Masters' Program in Clinical Psychology. In addition, I believe that travelling has taught me and will keep teaching, not only me but everyone, many important lessons in life that we cannot learn from books or social media. There is an art to travelling; being introduce to a new culture, meeting people that are extreme opposites of you and being able to settle down and enjoy and cope to your surroundings.

Movies, Music, Psychology, Strange Ideas, TV Shows

I have been watching TED Talks ever since I was 13 years old. They have been a way for me to open not only my mind and eyes but also motivate me, cheer me up and push me to further pursue my goals. When I joined the University of Balamand and found out that they had a TEDx Team, I knew that it was one the best ways to really connect and get closer to TED. This was a motivation for me to want to spread new ideas, awareness and try to open the eyes and minds of my surroundings. TED has been a part of my life for several years now and being a part of it is a very exciting and motivating feeling.
