Former CEO and Vice-Chairman at Bisnow Media, largest producer of commercial real estate news and events. Operating in 28 metro markets, Bisnow produces over 300 annual conferences attracting more than 70,000 attendees. Ryan led the sale of Bisnow to PE firm Wicks Group in 2016.
Co-founder and CEO of Summit. Summit, called the Davos for Gen-Y by Forbes, began as an event series with a mission to unite world leaders through events designed to catalyze positive personal and collective growth.
Ryan is also co-owner of Powder Mountain ski resort in Eden, Utah, and investor in firms like Uber and Warby Parker, as well as real estate investments in New York and Washington, DC.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Ryan worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and private equity at The Carlyle Group.
