A psychologist specializing in personal and organizational applications of positive psychology, currently on graduate studies in Counseling Psychology at the University of Minnesota. Early professional diversions in areas such as strategic communications, social innovation and philosophy developed my creative passion on the origins of morality, the educational and organizational implications of character, honor and citizen eudaemonia. Taught Ethics and History of Philosophy, while serving as an applied research fellow at the university of Boston College. Founded and serve as the principal researcher at the Philotimo Foundation, a non-profit Think/Do tank exploring the meta-virtue of ‘Philotimo’ as a platform for positive change at the intersection of social science, systems and philosophy. I have the honor of curating TEDxRhodes and TEDxYouth@Rhodes, alongside an amazing team of exceptional human beings.

Philotimo: a heretofore unexplored psychosocial construct or character virtue at the core of philosophy and political science (orthographically belonging under Philosophy in english dictionaries) that constitutes a universal and often disruptive platform for personal and societal positive change.

It all started when I was first pushed onto a stage. Expressing one's own heart and mind before peers and towards interdependent change was a love-at-first-sight. Although a regular TED binger, it wasn't before meeting a senior member of the TED team in Boston that I was encouraged to apply for a license. The rest is history in the making, not just mine but of every person who set foot on our stage, every volunteer who labored to add character to each event, every member of the organizing team who showed persistence, patience and above all faith to carry our vision forward. Rhodes is a small island, but so is every island that starts small but strives to leave a dent in its universe. Following a number successful TEDxRhodes and TEDxYouth@Rhodes events since 2015 (#NoManIsanIsland, #ValuesWorthSpreading #EmergentSeas #WorthyCompasses #Modern times), we have nurtured a growing vibrant TEDx community at the easternmost edge of Europe; and the ink has yet to dry!
