Carole joined the BBC as a copy typist and went on to produce Radio 4's flagship discussion programme 'Any Questions?' for many years. In 2007 Carole was invited by the online market research company YouGov to set up the opinion leader research company YouGovStone. I'm passionate about

Encouraging people to seize the moment and take life by the scruff of the neck. . Bringing people together from very different worlds to discuss social issues of concern to us all.

An idea worth spreading

Establish a regular 'Salon' - same place, same time, same day for 4 - 6 weeks at a time, maximum 1.5 hours. This is an excellent way of inviting people you have only met once or twice to join you at a salon so that you can get to know the person better and introduce them to others that they might not otherwise have met. This 'meeting of minds' is essential to let innovative ideas be discussed without the necessity of formal planning of events.
