Bio
Jennifer Williams is the Everyday Matriarch - inspiring women to lead their lives and families with strength, grace and humor.
Sharing stories and real-life experiences, she allows other women to acknowledge all of the stories and experiences in their own lives and see how much we all have in common.
Jennifer is a wife, a mother of three young children, and works full-time outside the home. She understands the struggle for women, especially mothers, to take care of themselves when so many around us need us, too. She has found her own harmony in her life and now writes and speaks to other women world-wide who would also like to become Everyday Matriarchs.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about inspiring others and create a worldwide sense of community, especially among mothers. We have so much to offer each other - and so many of us feel alone.
An idea worth spreading
Be a Super Woman - not Superwoman!
The TED story
I have loved the TED talks for many years, and always had a sense of wistful longing to be part of this amazing, transformative community. As I have stepped further into myself, I have realized that I am TED - as much as anyone else! My next step into TED was my hosting the first-ever TEDxMacGrovelandWomen 2012 event in St. Paul, MN. I am thrilled to bring TED to my home state.
Things you might not know
Speaking! I am quite amazing. I am also a fantastic singer, and I can read Dr. Seuss' "Fox in Socks" like a BOSS.
