I spent my first years lost in a mix of technology and creativity, my early twenties travelling through Asia and Australia working at various farms and factories. My late twenties pursuing a degree in Electronics followed by a PhD in Physics. Since then I have spent around fifteen years being obsessed with using print as a way to manufacture all the products around us to enable a world that is magical not technical and paper not plastic. I’m presently living in Los Angeles

interactivity, creativity, education, the wilderness, exploring the world around me and the world within me, sleeping under the stars in the wilderness as often as I can.

The future will be more like the past than the present, magical not technical.

I was 'discovered' by TED in London in 2012 in a bar by Chris and Kelly, asked to speak at TEDx Amsterdam a few weeks later, resulting in me then speaking at TED 2013. Also during 2013 I spoke at TEDx Burning Man and TEDx San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. This year I am running two workshops at TED to create interactive TED notebooks.
