Dr. Sam Paul Isaac MPT(Ortho), MBA(HR & Healthcare Management), PhD, MHCPC(UK), MDP - Healthcare Management & Analytics (IIM -K) Dr. Sam Paul Isaac has been an educationist for the last 22 years. He is a post graduate in Physiotherapy, specialized in Orthopaedics, MPT(Ortho), Member of Health & care Professions Council(UK), MBA(HR & Healthcare Management), PhD, MDP - Healthcare Management & Analytics from IIM - K. Dr. Sam Paul Isaac chose to extend his bountiful commitment and uncluttered attention in the field of education and worked in the capacity of Principal & Director. Dr. Sam Paul, chose to extend his bountiful commitment and uncluttered attention in the field of education and joined Krupanidhi College in the year 2001 as the Vice – Principal & was elevated to the post of Principal. His dynamic skills of administration further elevated him to the level of Chief Administrative Officer. As an efficient administrator and an industrious person with multiple talents Dr. Sam Paul could not confine himself in any position less than being the Director of the institute. Under his leadership the institute was ranked among the top 10 institutes in India. He was honored with the ‘Young Achievers Award’ in the year 2004. In the year 2006 he was awarded the “PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR”. In the year 2014 he was awarded as the “PHYSIOTHERAPIST OF THE YEAR’ by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists. He has several laurels & awards to his credit. He also received the “Life time Achievement Award” by the VDGOOD Professional Association - International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine & the Pioneer of Physiotherapy Award from the GSL National Physiotherapy Conference. Dr. Sam Paul in the year 1997 established a Rehabilitation Centre at Devanahalli. It so happened that when Dr. Sam started reaching the rural community he came across many disabled children who were in real need of rehabilitation & were deprived of the service due to their economical status. This situation made him find a real path to create access to people with disabilities, so that they could lead a life with dignity and respect. This ignited the desire for Dr. Sam to reach unconditionally to the common man & render service at his best. Thus, in the year 1997 he started treating the disabled children in a small hut at Majjige Hosahalli, Devanahalli Taluk. He started reaching the unreached villages with an aim to render his service. He traveled a long distance from Bangalore during his weekends to treat the physically challenged. The news of his effective treatment soon spread through Majjige Hosahalli & the neighboring villages. The inflow of physically challenged children was rapidly increasing day by day. Lack of proper alternatives forced Dr. Sam to continue treating patients at a small hut. Seeing his commitment & dedication the students of the NSS wing of St. Joseph's College constructed Dr. Sam a Rehabilitation Center at Devanahalli. The center was loaded with multi category disabilities such as polio, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, down's syndrome, injection palsy, erb's palsy, loco-motor disabilities, autism, visual impaired, hearing impaired, speech impaired, learning disabilities, scholastic backwardness. All these cases were a challenge to the center. The teamwork & their dedication at the center were outstanding & thus the recovery of the physically challenged children & their satisfaction was remarkable. The center started conducting health camps & awareness programs at various villages with an aim to reach the unreached communities. Dr. Sam at the age of 21 years, established the rehabilitation centre for the under-privileged disabled children. The impulsive drive in Dr. Sam further motivated him to establish Kings Healthcare in the year 2007, which was the pioneer in online tele-medicine consultations & tele-medicine education. He was also the pioneer in establishing tele physiotherapy for his international clients. He is also a practicing Physiotherapist. He has been conducting workshops & seminars across India & different parts of the world. He has been the Keynote speaker in many conferences nationally & internationally. He has also been hosting Tedx events. His vision is to inculcate Research & Innovation into all educational streams starting from the school education to the post graduation. He has also published several research articles & has been mentoring various research clusters. He is also the Associate Editor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science Physiotherapy Journal, published by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. He is also the Editorial Board member of International Journal of BioSciences & Technology(IJBST). He is also the Editor in Chief of International Journal for Physiotherapy Research & Clinical Practices(IJPRCP) Also a reviewer of many journals.
