I am a 17-year-old in my senior year of high school at Al Mawakeb School. I always attempt to make the most of my time, and with everything that was happening, I never had the opportunity to really do something big that is going to satisfy my consciousness, for a little while at least. I’m always at the edge of my seat, I want to do something great, something new. I’ve worked on several little projects however, I strongly believe that I am ready for something bigger and greater. Therefore, I want to organize a local TEDx for my people, and the rest of the online world. I am into team sports, I always love to go to as many Model United Nation conferences all around the country, competitions in sciences, organizing events at school, I’ve also worked with the ministry of health and prevention on a beautiful awareness project through grades nine and ten. I look forward to accomplishing much more. Simply put, I am a motivated teenager, ready to conquer the world.

Seizing every opportunity. I like a new challenge, and I always take it very seriously. I have failed before, but I never let that stop me from trying again, giving up is not an option for me. People are scared of failure, they don’t want to risk it, they prefer staying in their comfort zones. That is exactly what I oppose, failure is normal. Not a single successful person did it on their first try, they work day and night to become a success, even though had failed before. chase your dreams.

In a very short period of time I had realized that many people I knowmor had recently met were given the opportunity to work with a local TEDx event. For example, Marwa Al Shaibani, Teebah Al Heyari, and Mohammed Al Qaseer were speakers, while Leen Binchi was an organizer in two TEDx events in the region, and they were able to pull off great speeches and amazing events. Now I can either wait for the opportunity of being involved with a TEDx or I can start an event, and I choose to start one.
