My interest in TED began when a friend of mine attended a TEDx event in 2010 and shared his experience with me, then I noticed the spread of TEDx event in Egypt that captured my attention in several media channels. This made me more convinced that my ideas and beliefs about changing misconceptions and development in Egypt can be achieved by promoting the TED culture, and so I did it for three TEDxPortTawfik events.
