Hashem Aboulhosn

Hash started his career in investment banking with RBC Capital Markets. From there he moved into venture capital where he was first exposed to technology and startups. In the mortgage industry since 2014, he co-founded a private mortgage lender called Neighbourhood Holdings which spun out of Conconi Growth Partners, a family investment office, after which he took on the role of CFO at Lendesk Technologies and held lead its acquisitions by Rocket Companies, the largest mortgage lender in the United States. In late 2019 he left Lendesk and co-founded Edison Financial with backing from Rocket Companies, with a mission to revolutionize the mortgage experience to make life better for clients and mortgage professionals. Today, Edison is the fastest growing mortgage fintech startup in Canada reaching $1B in annualized funding volume within 2 years.
