Lee-Anne Barraclough

I am Head of Communications – UK, Ireland & Nordics, based in London. My responsibilities include oversight for corporate communications, PR, social investment, stakeholder engagement and issues management for Shell. I joined Shell International in 1986 in London as a Lubricants Business Development Manager. I have held assignments in differing areas of the business including refining, supply, retail marketing, lubricants marketing and change management before moving into corporate communications. As Oil Products Communications Manager, I was responsible for corporate communications for the Oil Products CEO before moving to Head of Communications for Shell’s global businesses. This included corporate communications for Shell’s Retail, Lubricants, B2B and Chemicals businesses. Before Shell, I worked as at Texaco Chemicals for five years based in Houston Texas. I am a US citizen and grew up in Texas, Connecticut, Holland, England and Saudi Arabia; I received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Houston Baptist University in the U.S.; and for the past 25 years I have resided in London, England.
