Organizing a TEDx event for my community of Woodstock, Georgia to showcase the local ideas and amazing people, and talented entrepreneurs of Woodstock, Georgia.To mentor and inspire a team of community builders, changemakers, creatives and storytellers to speak to both the challenges and opportunities of a world in transition.

Today, not down the road, is the time for each communities’ elders, to step forward and speak our hope and passion for the future of mankind. The ancient Greek saying states it best ... great societies grow and flourish when its elders plant trees they know they will never get to sit under its shade. If we can teach again the story of Nature, that symbiotically and seamlessly works together, we will take this world farther. While we have gone fast separate, we can now only go far together.

I love TED's concept of creating ideas worth spreading. I am so happy that TED has become a global vehicle to raise humanities consciousness and spread ideas of hope for a better humanity and more connected and engaged societies. Now more than ever TED is needed to get us through this transition to a new level of consciousness for humanity. As stated above my reason for organizing a TEDx event for my community of Woodstock is to plant the trees for tomorrow, and inspire via my example of servant leadership the change makers of the future. I see that accomplished by building and mentoring a team of passionate community builders, changemakers, creatives and storytellers to speak to both the challenges and opportunities of a world in transition that lay before us as a community.

I'm pretty much an open book, and believe people can see that I am fairly free in sharing ideas and thoughts. But as a relentless seeker of knowledge they may not be aware of the varied things I do, or the outside the box creativity or eclectic ideas I embrace.
