Bio
In 2013 I founded the art and research firm Domestic Data Streamers a team of 45 journalists, engineers, and new media artists, to explore ways to communicate complex realities such as emerging violence, climate change, and democracy threats into digital and physical experiences.
Since then the studio has worked in over 50 countries making visible sometimes opaque and uncomfortable truths through interactive art🔥 exhibitions 🧠 games 🎮 digital media 👁️ and performances 💪 in museums, schools, prisons and cinemas.
Our latest project has been done with the Canadian research unit Citizen Lab focusing on the biggest case of widespread surveillance in Europe building up a digital experience of how certain democratic states use not legislated spyware against civil society without consequences. Im director of the master of applied AI to Arts and design at the Elisava School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona and also faculty at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
