Mint condition former professional band member turned creative + intersectional community-builder. Founder, Girlschool, and possessor of an RIAA-certified Gold Record from the past life. Programmer and consultant at the intersection of music, pop culture, and social innovation. Occasional speaker, but more frequently a collector/connector of others. Girlschool is a women-identified-led music and ideas festival and creative community that has been called “a vision for the way forward” by the Los Angeles Times. Girlschool has worked with artists from Yoko Ono to Fiona Apple to Leikeli47 to Karen O, and with organizations and brands from the LA Phil to Red Bull. I spent my 20s as a full time member of indie rock band the Airborne Toxic Event, and my violin recording/performing credits include Beyoncé, Kanye West, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Vampire Weekend, Sia, the Airborne Toxic Event, and more.
