Seek opportunities

Putting my hand up to organise a TEDx event has allowed me to grow professionally. I've shown I can turn a plan into reality, I've demonstrated I can work collaboratively with different people and I've trusted their strengths to deliver on their segment of the event. I've stepped in, and stepped back but continually moved forwards. My TED story has been empowering for me through planning, strategic awareness, concept outcomes and time management. I took on the challenge and allowed myself to relax and enjoy the journey. I asked questions, sought advice and backed myself in my decision making. I am very proud of my achievements.
