Description of the Introduction to Drawdown and Getting Into Action:
There are two workshops we would like to offer.
Reversing Global Warming: Introduction to Drawdown is a half-hour workshop that invites participants to see both the possibility of reversing global warming and realize that together we can do this.
Drawdown Solutions: Getting into Action is a 4-session workshop (2.5 hours each session) that supports participants in finding their unique contribution to reversing global warming and getting into action with a community of like-minded individuals.
These workshops are composed of didactic PowerPoint presentations of information interspersed with activities including reflection and discussion in small groups. Each topic is supported with professionally produced videos. They are designed to inform and bring people together as a community to contribute to local and national global warming solutions.

An idea worth spreading
Inter-being is, I believe, the key to all of our world citizens coming together to mitigate the effects of Covid-19, the environmental crisis, and mindfully dealing with life's challenges.
The TED story
Friday, March 20, 2020 – North Vancouver, BC
The first day of spring. I’ll be going for a run soon to take in the blossoms and the warmish sun.
Yet, the work continues in these uncertain times. It must. Earth’s last wild places and millions of species are on the brink of being lost forever. If anything, this pandemic shows what happens when science and the experts are ignored. We need solutions to the biggest challenges threatening our planet now more than ever. We can’t afford to pause our work, and we’ll do the best that we can to build a future together while maintaining the health of all.
I hope you and your loved ones are well, safe, and healthy, and I look forward to tackling the greatest threats to our planet together.
Yes, as we can see, there are consequences for ignoring the advice of scientists and plunging ahead toward market dominance and profitability. Wake up people! We live in Interbeing. Let’s work together to protect and restore our beautiful planet. There is much to let go of (bad habits, unsustainable lifestyles) but not our remarkable home.
