Bio
David Barry is the Founder of Urby, an imaginative new urban apartment brand with innovative design and residential hospitality mindset. Barry’s innovative and visionary approach to real estate has resulted in the successful development of a multitude of creative residential and hotel projects. Barry is passionate about supporting and complementing emerging neighborhoods with his projects and keeping it local.
Barry was a former all-Ivy wrestling star at Columbia and thereafter a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
Barry served on the boards of Fortress Investment Group L.L.C., Liberty Science Center, the Lowline, Beat the Streets Wrestling, Inc., and he was Team Leader for the USA Wrestling Team at the 2012 London Olympics.
