Moki Evans is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with over 15 years of successfully planning and managing corporate meetings and events (12 of those in the Pharmaceutical industry). Active in the meeting industry, Moki is a member of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) and other important industry associations and continues to remain involved in the industry. Organizing events has been a life-long joy and continues to be the fuel that makes life interesting. Moki was born in Vietnam, among hundreds of Amerasians adopted and brought to California where she has lived for over 37 years. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband Chris, daughters Shaina and Kaitlin, step-son Zeke and Kobi the family's superdog.

First learned about TED through a documentary and then online from TED talks a few years ago. Been inspired and interested ever since. It is my hope that the TED conference and the ideas that inspire help change our world for the better.
