About Chenyu
Bio
Chenyu Zheng is a popular book author “606 days without a lease” , lifestyle trailblazer and visual artist from China. She has been a guest lecturer at Tencent, Alibaba, Baidu, and a speaker at Airbnb Open.
Zheng graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. degree of Economics and studied abroad at Oxford University. Professionally, she has been a tech marketer and culture bridge for Whisper and Uber. In addition, she writes for leading tech and lifestyle publications and media outlets in China. Now she runs her own media studio, collaborating with conscious and sustainable lifestyle brands.
Her lifestyle experiment to live in local people's homes for 606 days to explore different formats of homes, belonging and identity have instilled courage and inspired a new way to travel among the emerging Chinese travelers. Her story has appeared in CBC, HuffPost, China Travel Channel, Cosmopolitan China, Cityzine, Hainan Airlines and many other national and international media.
