Every situation is a relationship and having the ability to engage fully in those relationships requires us to first dive deeply into oneself. True intimacy can be born only out of the deep love affair one must experience with themselves first and foremost. From the perspective of being a Relationship Coach, the absolute worst quote I’ve ever heard was from the movie Jerry McGuire when Renee Zellwiger said “... You complete me...” I see the inherent trap in those three seemingly simple words.
