I am a Salt Lake City Native, raised at the foot of our Mount Olympus, with my head in the clouds and my feet firmly on the ground. My long career has been in marketing, advertising, public relations, legislative affairs, public outreach and human relations. In my off hours, I have been privileged to sit on the Board of Directors of many extraordinary charitable and arts organizations.

Discouraged at work and needing new insights, my daughter reached out from Goucher College: “Find a TED talk.” I did. I found assistance. I continued to listen. I learned new things. I was uplifted. I laughed. I was encouraged. I felt embraced. I was challenged. Sometimes I was intimidated. But it always feels like a safe place, a welcoming place and a good place.
