Bio
I was born in former Yugoslavia and three years befor its disintegration in 1991 started my teaching career as a Slovene language teacher at Gimnazija Bežigrad, my former high school, after having studied Skovene at Filozofska fakulteta in Ljubljana. Despite that turbulent time I have a pretty good ordinary family and professional life.I enjoy my work and I think I maintained a youthfully perspective and that I keep up to date.

Socializing with family and friends, literature, theatre and film, singing, teaching and gardening.

The TED story
TED Talks was recomended to me by a friend several years ago and they made a tremendous impression on me, particularljy those about education. Additionally, I attemnded TEDx Ljubljana events and was inspired to organize TED Youth event at the school I teach. Since then we have organized two events. My role is to be a mentor to the students organizing the event.
