Bio

Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, Jacqueline Dewey grew up in a Chinese-American household, raised by entrepreneurial immigrant parents who embraced both modern American values and a traditional Chinese heritage. She left the islands and attended the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business for her Bachelor of Science degree and returning later for her MBA degree. Currently, Jacqueline is the Senior Manager of Strategy Development at Turner Entertainment Networks in Atlanta, Georgia. She leads teams to data-driven response strategies and recommendations, and identifies vulnerabilities and opportunities for Turner Entertainment Networks' cable network and multi-platform initiatives. Prior to Turner, Jacqueline was the Business Manager of Digital Media at Disney/ABC Television Group in Los Angeles, California. She has over 15 years of experience in Marketplace Strategy and Business Operations, having worked for Fortune 500 and high tech, new media companies including Bank of America Private Advisory Services and Yahoo. Jacqueline is also a TEDx organizer and co-founder of TEDxAmericasFinestCity in San Diego, California, which is a local, independently organized TED event operating under a license from TED, the globally influential nonprofit organization devoted to ideas worth spreading.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about raising awareness and finding a cure for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). I am also passionate about music and keeping music education within the school curriculum.
