I'm a Tokyo-based Digital Media Producer, artist, marathon runner, public speaker, consultant, trainer, inventor, husband, father (primarily) Apple user & change enthusiast. As founder and CEO of Wild Tame Co., Ltd, I work with a wide variety of clients on digital media projects. As the Digital Team Lead at TEDxTokyo I design and implement the event's digital strategy. incorporating live streaming, social media and volunteer team support. It was through TEDxTokyo that I came to work with Japan's leading video and film production company catering for foreign clients, virgin earth inc, and can often be found in their studio in central Tokyo or out on location at a wide variety of shoots. I'm well known in Japan for my livestreaming video stunts, notably running the full Tokyo Marathon whilst broadcasting video from 4 iPhones. Through my activities combining technology, sports, social media and art, and through having witnessed the power of mobile technologies to help tell stories, I believe that mobile, social and local devices/services have enormous potential for giving people a voice in any situation. It is my goal to push the limitations of these technologies, utilizing mobile devices to share stories that might otherwise go unheard.

Since becoming a part of the TEDxTokyo team in 2010, the TED movement has literally changed my life. As a direct result of my volunteering to be a part of that team I have met many inspiring people who have encouraged me to push myself beyond my comfort zone, been approached by multiple new clients for all manner of interesting and engaging projects, and have been introduced to a powerful ecosystem of people who aren't afraid to think different.Very much looking forward to attending my first TED Active in 2012.
