I am a Psychology major at New England College with a focus in gay rights and transgender studies. When I embarked on this TEDx journey I was 23 years old. It has taken a lot of mistakes to get me to the successful place to the place I am today. I have lied, I have cheated, I have done wrong. alot of the time I haven't appoligized. yes, i am human and I learn from my mistakes. I want to get away, and live in a place of music. A world of color. Just. Everywhere. I have friends but few will withstand. Almost everyone leaves eventually. Please, do not tell me who I am, What I do or what I think. You couldn't even begin to understand. I have an obsession with robots and a fear of moths. I promised myself that i'm going to do amazing things, and i will. I am an original. You will NEVER meet anyone like me.

Second chances, my Australian Shepherd (Frieden), animals, psychology, transgender rights, gender bending, gay rights, my family, neurofibromatosis, human rights, fighting sexual abuse, adoptions.

I have written a short survivor story during the past year. I was raped during my freshman year and stayed silent for almost 8 years. My idea worth spreading is that if we stand together we can stop the abuse that many women all over the world are experiencing. I hope to get my story out to as many people as I can and inspire others to do the same. One day I plan to put an anthology together of sexual abuse survivors! The following is a small snip it from my story. "I am entitled to live everyday just as they do, never hurting about that day, and never putting myself down. I have the right to live without the unbearable flashbacks, to be able to sleep through the night, and most importantly I am allowed to reach my goals. I will be someone worth knowing and I will make sure I realize my true potential. Today I am a strong sure woman and today is the day that I am taking my life back. Today is the first day of the rest of my life"

I am right now beginning the process of putting a TEDx event together in New Hampshire. I want to get all the colleges to link up and bring a brilliant group of innovative positive thinkers together. I hope to inspire people to do more in our communities and to make an impact.
