Kety Esquivel is a senior executive with decades of experience working with clients in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe. Her work has taken her to China and Ethiopia with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. She's coached executives in the US, Canada and Latin America. She has led the digital efforts for top tier agencies, companies and nonprofits for years. Her work in PR includes a PRSA-NCC Thoth Award Category Winner in Global Communications, a Global Gold Sabre Award and placement as a Cannes PR Lions finalist. Her commentary has been featured in stories for the Wall St. Journal, HITN, PBS, CNN, Televisa and Univision. Her diverse B2B and B2C background includes work with several companies, US government agencies, foreign governments, charitable foundations and nonprofits. Kety has been Vice President of Digital Influence at Ogilvy PR Worldwide. She led the digital practice for Fenton’s Western region. She was an Executive Vice President for Edelman and Vice President for AnitaB. She spent years coaching executives for a fortune 100 company on human capital in the US, Canada and Latin America. She directed Latino outreach for a Presidential Campaign. She was the New Media Manager for Unidos US and the interim CEO for Latinos in Social Media. She was the founder of CrossLeft, an author and a founding board member of the Hispanic Public Relations Association NCC and the New Leaders Council and has served on several other boards, including the Puerto Rican Youth Development and Resource Center. Her clients have included American Express, Kraft, Marriot, Huggies, Kodak, Yahoo, Smartmatic, United Airlines, Nissan, the Public Broadcasting Service, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Harvard University, the California Endowment, the US Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institute of Health and the Center for Disease Control. Kety has been on the Advisory Board of Yes We Code and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation's Innovation and Technology Advisory Board. She's a former editor of BlogHer, blogger on the Huffington Post and has been a convener for Web of Change and She’s Geeky. Kety graduated from Cornell University where she served on the Board of Trustees. She has also pursued graduate education at NYU and Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program. She is currently on the President’s Council of Cornell Women, the Cornell University Council and is President of the Cornell Latino Alumni Association.
