Bio
As the head organiser of TEDx at DPS Faridabad, I experienced that treading the seemingly vast gulf between a globally renowned institution and my own local school was not only possible, but also immensely rewarding. I learnt how to negotiate with various vendors, how to lead a team of 22 participants and above all, how to create bridges between 300 young, Indian students aspiring towards success and brilliant 8 distinguished leaders who had risen out of challenges to emerge successful. Consequently, I ensured that TEDx at DPS Faridabad would not simply be a lecture series. Rather, the topics our speakers discussed - such as, entrepreneurship, building meaningful connections in the workplace, self-discipline, the importance of diversity and social inclusion in forging new businesses - spoke directly to our young audience. Both before and after the formal event, students interacted with the speakers and vice versa. I myself was a student at the time, thereby receiving a bespoke window into the world of India's ambitious youth and inspirational leaders.
I'm passionate about
Socio-economic reform in South Asian and Middle Eastern workplaces, especially for young women.
