The TED story

I started to watch TED talks when only a few people knew about it in my closest environment - except one of my friends - and couldn't stop it. There were times when a messenger chat between myself and my friend were only TED talk links and reactions to them. I also started to send TED talk links to friends with "you have to see this!" messages. Every TED and TEDx talk changes something within myself and I wanted to share this with everyone. In 2017 I was preparing for my first English talk in a tech conference in Auckland New Zealand, and I got Chris Anderson's book "TED Talks". I loved the book and helped me to prepare for my presentation. It also gave me a good insight of how TED works, and why TED talks are such superb quality. In 2018, I started a local community/NGO with a couple of friends and we started to organise events, talks and workshops. Our goal is to bring tech and design life a bit of a lift-up, bring tech and design people together, generate good conversations and create a community. I got the honour of being the president of this organisation and I am very proud of what we achieved in the past year.
