The TED story

My interest in TED first developed a few years ago as I started browsing the web in search of interesting, informative, well-researched materials I could use in my English classroom. My husband then introduced me to Chris Anderson's talk "TED's secret to great public speaking", and I was really inspired by the vision of TED being about "transferring the gift of an idea" into the minds of the listeners. I definitely feel like I have been blessed with those ideas numerous times since. Last year I had the opportunity to co-organize my first ever TEDx event along with a team of brilliant, passionate and inspiring students from the school I teach in. TEDxIILOPoznań Crossing Boundaries exceeded our expectations and left us hungry for more!
