I am currently working as a Founder and Chief Executive Officer of “Community of Biotechnology”, a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh that provides workshops, training, counseling, and research opportunities among the life science students of Bangladesh. I am also serving as a Judge at the iGEM Competition and a Startup Mentor at iGEM EPIC. I graduated from the department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. I have worked as a Research Assistant at Fujian Medical University. I have also worked as a Research Associate at COVID Research Cell, Wazed Miah Science Research Center, Jahangirnagar University. I was also the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of “X-Genomics”, an initiative that supported genomics and bioinformatics to the broader research community and aimed to collaborate with genomic research projects and developed a new bioinformatics platform to advance the research and clinical diagnosis using sequencing technologies. I was also the founding secretary of ISCB RSG-Bangladesh and the Director-General of SUST Science Arena. I have previously worked as a visiting lecturer at Sylhet Cadet College. My areas of expertise are Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Immunoinformatics, Molecular Biology, and Microbial Genetics. I have already published 45 scientific articles, 10 conference proceedings; received many awards, and fellowships at various conferences worldwide.
