About Ambal
Bio
Ambal Balakrishnan is President and Co-founder of ClickDocuments and curator of TEDxYouth@SanRamon. She is a technologist turned marketer. She spent a decade in the Corporate world in various roles that includes Engineering, Program management, Business development, Strategy and Marketing for premium and fast growing product divisions at Cisco and Telecordia. Most recently, she was focusing on marketing and positioning of Cisco data center switching business with multi-billion dollars in annual revenues.

Ambal serves on the Board of San Ramon Valley Education Foundation that supports and promotes education in the community in partnership with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. She is also actively involved in coaching elementary and middle school students in math and science (Science Olympiad, First Lego League, Destination Imagination) contests.
Ambal is an avid reader and hiker. Her hiking pursuits have taken her to several mountains including Mt. Whitney at 14, 500 feet (which she managed to climb in 1 day).
Ambal received her Masters in Computer Science from Purdue University and an MBA in Marketing, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Wharton University of Pennsylvania. She lives with her family in San Ramon, CA.
