Heavily involved in projects in higher education that integrate use of technology in pedagogically appropriate ways. Specializing in emergent technologies including etextbook solutions, iPads, Rich Media Capture, Open Courseware, Podcasting, Live and Archived Streaming Services, Immersive Environments, Web Conferencing, Student Response Systems. I primarily work with Faculty. Current projects involve MOOCOWs, Open Badging and “Maker" Spaces. I am the principal license holder and chair of TEDxSBU and a member of the Joint Advisory Council on Online Learning.
