About Morgan

Bio

Morgan Brophy specializes in getting shit done (most of the time). In addition to working on what makes Strong Rabbit tick, Morgan is also the co-founder of the Artist Relief Tree, a mutual aid fund started in the wake of Covid-19 cancellations, which provides financial relief to artists worldwide. She also consults with a variety of small business on implementing systems and operations, and marketing and branding strategies. Prior to launching Strong Rabbit, Morgan was the Assistant Director of Artistic Administration at Wolf Trap Opera, casting and mentoring young opera singers in the Studio Artist program and producing a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary shows weaving together opera, orchestra, dance, and visual art. Morgan has previously worked in arts administration with Washington National Opera’s Cafritz Young Artist Program, Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Ryan Opera Center, and Charlottesville Opera. Additionally, Morgan has worked as a stage manager for Opera North (US), El Paso Opera, University of Virginia, and many community theaters around the country. Morgan received her BM from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford in opera performance and arts administration. She and her husband live in Vermont with their three cats and two hermit crabs.
