Kodchakorn Khemtonglang

Kodchakorn is a driven and accomplished scholar currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) as a Fulbright Scholar. Her passion for the TEDx movement has led her to become a member of TEDxUIUC, where she first started as an event planning staff during her first semester. Due to her outstanding experience in organizing TEDxKhonKaenU for four years during her undergraduate studies at Khon Kaen University in Thailand, she was quickly promoted to the position of marketing director during her second semester. Back in Thailand during her undergraduate study, she was promoted to curator director at TEDxKhonKaenU in 2019 after starting as a curator staff in 2018. In 2021, amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Kodchakorn stepped up as a licensee and project manager, organizing TEDxKhonKaenU event. Kodchakorn draws much of her inspiration from her active involvement in the TEDx community, and she is dedicated to giving back to this vibrant community.

My strong belief in the power of interdisciplinary knowledge, collaborative projects, and community engagement drives my passion for promoting and exchanging scientific and engineering knowledge with individuals from diverse fields. I am convinced that the key to advancing knowledge and technology lies in connecting different fields and fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations.
