A higher education administrator in transition, I retired from a VP position at Colorado State at the end of 2021. After a short break, I moved to a smaller campus and town to serve as a VP at Western Colorado University, leading the Marketing and Enrollment division. While still passionate about higher education, I am also interested in how I can impact the HE experience for employees and students from outside the hallowed halls of academia. Strong background in enrollment management with a commitment to equity through evaluation of practices and policies; institutional communications strategy focused on critical stakeholder groups and engagement; and authentic leadership during change and crisis rooted in opportunity and empathy. I was co-advisor for the Colorado State University student organization that created TEDxCSU. I attended TEDActive 2012, TEDxMileHighTEDxCSU 2012, hosted a TED Live simulcast in 2013 and have remained connected to TEDxCSU ever since. In 2023, I was a speaker at TEDxCSU.
