I am a…

Brainstormer, Change Agent, Connector, Event planner, Explorer, Idea generator, Marketer, Project manager, Student, World traveler

Bio

An enthusiatic, result-driven and diligent Bachelor student who soaks in the ups and downs of life as it goes. Living life true to myself had been my motto to stay positive in the face of challenges and difficulties. Sooner rather than later I believe I can help link business, public policy and civil society in creative ways to address globalisation-related challenges in Asia.

I'm passionate about

Youth Empowerment

An idea worth spreading

What would have happened if leaders of the future meet, build and foster friendships at their 20s, rather than meeting only at 50s at board room for business deals?

Areas of expertise

Brand Management, Business Relationship Management, Communication and Public Relations, Employer Branding, Event Management, New Business Management, Organizational Development, Team Leadership and Development

The TED story

My first contact for TEDx went back to Dec. 2010 when I had my first TEDx experience as a delegate attending TEDxPearlRiverDeltaWomen. Amazing people turned up, fantastic speakers shared fearlessly their unique stories on life. Not only has TEDx given me a platform to peep into the global perspectives on various important issues, it's provided me access to a global community of passionate, ambitious, and entrepreneurial people who excel at amplifying ideas worth spreading and enabling ideas worth doing. The admiration for power of TEDx quietly instilled seeds into the back of my mind to influence my community with positive impact in my own way, at the time when I am capable to do so. Not until last August, 2011 when I got the chance to meet the curator of TEDxPearlRiverDeltaWomen did my admiration transformed into action. Jose Rueda, the curator, hit me on the spot and made me understand that organizing a TEDx event starts from a philosophical search of self-motivation.
