After the realization set in that I can't continue living my life as a member of Power Rangers or owning my own Pokémon, I came to the understanding that maybe I'm just totally drawn into listening or telling stories a lot. For me, there's always something enchanting about them. I mean, humans are connected to each other through stories - I can learn so much from listening to someone's story and make connections with them. Hopefully, I can share my learning with the others through storytelling, so I can make human connections whenever I listen to anyone's piece of life. That's why I became a storyteller. Hi, welcome to my profile! My name Jazman, but please call me Jazz. As my name suggests, I have an undying love for Jazz music. Moved to Tokyo from Jakarta in 2018, I was part of TEDxJakarta's team for 8 years. I also founded TEDxUnpad, a university-based TEDx event, back in 2012. TED and TEDx has a huge impact in my life, and the growing community of TEDx has always been impressive to me. I always believe that every person has an interesting stories that we can learn something from. So, what's your story?

I joined my first TEDx event in Jakarta when I was on my 11th grade in senior high school. Clueless and definitely one of the youngest among all of the TEDxJakarta's 2nd event audience, I was mesmerized and astounded with all of the event's aspects. Little did I know that my first encounter to the world of TEDx through TEDxJakarta made me volunteering for TEDxJakarta for about 8 years.
