2014 TEDxChange Heroe and 2012 TEDPrize winner for City 2.0 Award enabled me build a recycled amusement playground for children living in Acholi quaters, Kireka, Kampala, Ruganzu holds a first class in Art and Industrial design. Founder of Ecoart Uganda , a group that promotes environmental awareness through Art, Am a part time lecturer at the department of Art and Industrial Design, Vocational studies Faculty, kyambogo University . Young Achievers award winner 2011 in the Art, Fashion and Culture category. Winner of the Planet Women Photo competition( Uganda ).Recognised by Earth Hour as Innovator 2013. I am the curator of TEDxKampala and lecturer of Art and Design, Kyambogo University, Uganda's 3rd Public University where I have taught for 3 years now

Change can be brought out by anyone from anywhere. Art becomes a political act, a conscious effort to facilitate and participate in social change. If we want respect, love and beauty among others, and ourselves, we must actively promote it through our art.

i live in a country that is beautiful and green. Waste material is eating us up while no one is listening. Uganda is naturally endowed with Nature. Am 29 years old artist whose belief is to see this green stay on for my grandchildren. I started a small company that uses visual art on gatherings to promote environmental protection. Usually, we go to festivals creating installations using waste materials like mineral water bottles. It's not our efforts that matter but the whole collective public to start minding how, where they litter and the effects related. This event is a dream come true artists are going to air out their voice.

Create beauty from waste. Functional art and dreaming big. I always aim higher and feel that there no limit in creativity.counseling, making friends, conflict resolutions and highly innovative.
