"Always looking forward to learn something. If you have something to teach me, talk to me! I'm nice and always trying to make jokes ;)" by Isabel.
Isabel is finishing a master degree in agricultural engineering at Instituto Superior de Agronomia, University of Lisbon.
Isabel was an important asset for Trigger. Systems — a startup that develops IOT for agriculture — she was responsible for the representation of the company in many startup contests and events. From this experience, Isabel gain a disruptive and outside of the box mind set about the mix of agriculture and technology.
Her second job was managing an agriculture website - Agroportal.pt - that puts together all the relevant news about agriculture in Portugal. Isabel was able to understand how the industry works, the main issues and challenges associated with it.
Currently, Isabel is in Chile learning as much as she can about the world of walnuts. She is the export manager of Nogam - Grupo Ortigão Costa - that is investing in walnut crops in Alentejo.
This new job is giving her the opportunity to travel, get to know the market and open her mind about business and trading.
Isabel is really passionate about the new job and hopes it will bring her more knowledge, enthusiasm and happiness!
Also, organizing the TEDxISA 2019 has been a real adventure, with 15 voluntears and the suport of the university it will be an exciting and dinamic event!
Loves: being outside and spending time with her 2 nephews, João e Pedro.

The TED story
I've been listening to ted talks for a very long time and I'm so glad that I found them, because they have been helping me in every field of my life. Thanks to ted talks I learned about bit coin, block chain, civil rights, food demand crises, climate change, social behavior, how to fix my broken heart, how to be a better version of myself, why is it so important to do something I'm passionate about, how to manage my time, and the list keep on going! Thank you TED!
